The Wine Advocate:

The 2016 Cortezada is produced with grapes from the vineyard planted in Pazo do Couto in 2002, from a cool and late harvest. The full clusters fermented with indigenous yeasts with 60 days of maceration. The wine matured in used 300- and 500-liter French oak barrels, the way they had done from the beginning. Even if it's a cooler year than 2017, this 2016 shows a little wider, perhaps because the 2017 was partly aged in concrete. It has a round palate with clean flavors, long and tasty, with a soft finish. 5,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in December 2017.
