Description

Ce rouge Gran Reserva est l'emblème de Bodegas Faustino et un classique des maisons dans l'Espagne entière. Il est élaboré à partir de Tempranillo, Graciano et Mazuelo issus de propriétés situées à Oyón et Laguardia. Très complexe et élégant, avec une belle expression du fruit bien mûr. Élegant en bouche et excellent équilibre, avec une finale soyeuse.

Suckling:

Very complex aromas of ripe berries, sultanas, cedar and hints of chocolate. Full-bodied with round, ripe tannins that are layered and fresh. A delicious combination of mature fruit and mahogany add to the complexity of the wine. Holding on really nicely. Drink or hold.

Wine Enthusiast:

Classic Rioja aromas of vanilla, spice, tobacco and dried berry fruits carry this wine. On the palate, this warm-vintage gran reserva has energy from well-stored acidity, while the flavors include cherry, plum, mocha and a plethora of spices. Chocolate and tobacco flavors along with general warmth crowd the finish. Drink through 2030.

Decanter:

Autumnal, bonfire character here: savoury, truffle, cinder toffee and dried black cherry. A classic yet rich and concentrated wine that perfectly expresses the year and region.
