L'avis des experts

The Wine Advocate:

"The 2015 El Transistor means “the radio,” as it is produced from such an isolated vineyard that they had to leave the radio on to scare wild boars off so they don’t eat the grapes. It's pure Verdejo from four hectares of head-pruned old vines on gravel and sand soils, fermented in a combination of foudres, different size barrels, concrete and stainless steel vats with indigenous yeasts and aged for nine months in barrel before it was bottled. This is a little closed and quite serious, with some shy spicy notes and a mixture of white flowers and fruit, and a nutty touch. The palate is medium-bodied, with good freshness, especially for a warm and dry vintage, and the freshly cut grass and faint bitter notes in the finish are all there. This is a pure Verdejo like the one from yesteryear. The first vintage of this wine was 2008. There were 12,832 bottles were filled in May 2016."
