"The textbook red 2015 El Sequé, pure Monastrell from 30- to 40-year-old vines, fermented in open-top stainless steel tanks after a 24- to 48-hour cold soak with pigeage and pumping over. It matured in 500-liter French oak casks for one year. It's ripe, lush and velvety, with ripe fruit and tannins, very Mediterranean. The mouthfeel is soft, with juicy tannins and a velvety texture. It has the character of the grape and the place and the elegance only the best Monastrell is capable of. 50,000 bottles were filled in February 2017."
