Cruz Santa 2020

The 2020 version of the Vijariego Negro 2020 Cruz Santa has similar parameters as the 2019, 11.6% alcohol and a slightly lower pH, but the grapes were picked one month earlier! This was first produced in 2016. The full clusters seem to give it structure, the freshness comes from the grapes and the soft vinification, and an infusion gives the lightness and the elegance. I think it's a matter of taste if you prefer 2019 or 2020, as they are different, but both are very good. They produced 2,300 bottles of it. It was bottled in August 2021.
