L'avis des experts

Wine Enthusiast:

Packed with tannins as well as delicious black-currant fruits, this is a dense wine. Dark tannins are an important part of the wine's potential, underlining the structure while supporting the ripe fruits. Drink from 2023.

Decanter:

Clear blackberry brambly fruit character right from the start. The oak notes are evident but this is young and it feels like it has fattened up over ageing, deeping in character. Some fairly prominent acidity, but it comes through as lift and freshness, and this is an impressive wine for the vintage, showing itself better in bottle than during En Primeur. Lilting juice on the finish also. Still not one that needs to be set aside for years before drinking - you should be able to get going within five years, and keep it for another 15. Drinking window 2023-2038.

James Suckling:

"A dark-berry and dark-chocolate character with spices. Medium body and a delicious finish".
