Named after the monastery that sits next to the vineyard, Barón de Ley's flagship red is an impressive varietal Tempranillo. Matured in one-third new French oak, it's dark, smoky and intense with flavours of coffee bean, cassis and blackberry, fine-boned tannins, bright acidity and a sweet, balsamic undertone. 2023-28
Decanter:
Beautiful evolved coffee and cocoa notes on the nose, leading to leather, mushroom, smoke and dried strawberries on the palate. Elegant tannins, very long and charming.

Barón de ley, Finca Monasterio de 2017 es un vino muy equilibrado con bastante cuerpo en nariz muy oloroso, con mucho sabor un gran vino.
