The Wine Advocate:

"I had a quick preview at the 2015 Zárate, a complex vintage with a very warm summer but with some rains in mid-September, so they tried to harvest before the rains. The rains where not trivial, there were some 300 liters and as now you can have a pretty good idea of when it's going to rain at Zárate, they were able to harvest some 80% of their grapes before the rain started. The wine was bottled two weeks ago, and as they use as little sulphur as possible, the effect of the bottling is minimal, but it's still there; but it should blow off in a few months. This is their blend of different vineyards that tries to represent the vintage in the zone. You need to guide yourself by the palate at this point in time. This is a sharp and mineral vintage with high acidity and no malolactic, zippy, fresh and focused. This is a sharp, mineral Albariño for the long haul. 48,000 bottles produced".
