The organically grown 2016 Cotes du Rhone Villages Bio is 80% Grenache, with the other 20% split equally between Mourvèdre and Syrah. Peppery and herbal up front, it opens to reveal blueberry and black cherry fruit. Full-bodied and supple in texture, it finishes spicy and savory, avoiding any sense of jamminess on the silky finish.
