Viña Pedrosa Reserva 2012
Fiche technique
L'avis des experts
"The 2012 Viña Pedrosa Reserva contains 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. The vines used for this wine average 45 years of age and the process is the same as for the others. It matured in barrique for two years before being bottled. This is the last vintage and the last wine that contained Cabernet Sauvignon, and from 2014 onward, all their wines are 100% Tinto Fino (Tempranillo)—as they ripped out their Cabernet Sauvignon, a variety that in the village of Pedrosa does not ripen completely. There are some balsamic hints and minty notes, with good ripeness. This has even higher acidity than La Navilla from 2012, for them a slightly cooler vintage than 2010 and 2014. This was produced in a way that the wine would last for 20 years, and I'm sure it would. It feels terribly balanced; you'd never say this wine is 14% alcohol. 69,520 bottles produced."
