The Wine Advocate:

The single-vineyard red Cencibel 2015 El Señorito is always produced with the fruit from a plot planted some 25 years ago on limestone-rich soils in a cooler part of the property with less insulation. The plot tends to produce fresher and more elegant wines, and because of the spring frosts, it delivered very low yields. The wine fermented in stainless steel, followed by malolactic in concrete and an élevage of nine months in new French barriques. This is very elegant and serious, combining power with finesse, and the oak is surprisingly well integrated. The palate is medium to full-bodied with plenty of fine-grained tannins that have a specific texture that I find in these Cencibel wines from Más Que Vinos. 8,000 bottles were filled in September 2017.
