The Wine Advocate:

A new wine produced with a blend of two Mediterranean red varieties, the 2019 Garnacha - Cariñena comes from vines planted in 2017 and also contains some Syrah. It's not a shy red at 15.04% alcohol, and it has an explosive nose combining some smoky bacon and Mediterranean herb aroma and a full body with lush oak spiciness and a long finish. The nose seems dominated by the aromatics of Syrah. They went for extremely low yields with the very young plants and fermented the grapes in small 200-liter stainless steel vats and open-top barrels and then blended it in November 2019. They matured the wine in second use French barriques to preserve the delicate character of the Garnacha for 12 months. It's an impressive debut. 1,012 bottles were filled in January 2021.
