Description

The Wine Advocate:

I tasted a very young but surprisingly harmonious and approachable 2019 Turonia, the pure Albariño from Quinta Couselo in the Rosal subzone of Rías Baixas, a part that has less influence from the sea, as it's sheltered by a mountain range. The wine has less sea breeze character and more freshly cut grass aromas and river stones, going more toward the character of Ribeiro, clean and varietal. The palate is harmonious and seamless, with very good acidity and focused flavors with a pleasant bitter twist in the finish. Really very good. 30,000 bottles produced. It was bottled after six months with lees.
