L'avis des experts

The Wine Advocate:

The 2018 Tras los Muros matured in barrel for six months, and it's the new oak-aged young Albariño signed by Marisol Bueno's daughter Berta García. It has some developed notes of tropical fruit and some creamy oak and spiciness. The palate is quite sharp and also reveals some oak-related flavors. I think it needs time in the bottle. 2,790 bottles produced.

Tim Atkin:

Marisol Bueno's daughter in law, Barta García, makes this 10% new food fermented Albariño in a style that looks towards Burgundy, with bâtonnage adding extra texture and weight. Pear, cinnamon and vanilla flavours combine harmoniously on the palate, with top notes of brown toast and a racy, vibrant, green apple finish. 2024-30
