Description

The Wine Advocate:

"I tasted the 2017 Tragolargo, their younger and fresher Monastrell from younger vines fermented with a mixture of crushed and uncrushed grapes with some stems added in and bottled completely unoaked without any added SO2. It had some herbal aromas that somehow made me think of a cool-climate red rather than a Mediterranean one. Dusty cherries, raspberry leaf and something spicy and earthy makes it very attractive and approachable. It's not terribly complex, but it's very drinkable, with some fine tannins, and has the stuffing to stand up to food and develop in bottle for a few years. 54,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in November 2017."
