L'avis des experts

The Wine Advocate:

"The 2015 Tragaldabas is their regional wine for which they use exclusively Rufete grapes from a diversity of vineyards, all over 60 years old, from different villages, soils and expositions. It's accessible and easy to drink, with good acidity and freshness, but not banal. The destemmed gapes fermented in oak vats with indigenous yeasts with a total maceration time of 20-25 days followed by malolactic and ten months of aging. It was bottled unfiltered and unfined in July 2017. It's quite young and has some spiciness from the oak, but the nose and flavors are dominated by red berries and flowers, still quite primary. The palate is seamless, with fine tannins, contained ripeness, moderate alcohol and good freshness. 7,500 bottles produced."

James Suckling:

"A fresh and clean red with pinot-like aromas such as red cherries, strawberries and raspberries. Light body, light, velvety tannins and a long, fresh and fruity finish. Fruity and drinkable. Very pretty. From 100% rufete. Drink now."
