Supersónico 2019

The Garnacha red 2019 Supersónico was produced with grapes from two hectares of 80-year-old vines in the village of Sestrica at close to 1,030 meters in altitude on slate, granite and limestone soils. They fermented it in oak vats with indigenous yeasts and with 10% foot-trodden full clusters, followed by a long maceration of 50 days. It matured in used oak 500-liter barrels and 2,500-liter oak foudres for 12 months. It has some herbal notes intermixed with aromas of ripe berries and flowers and a soft texture with integrated acidity. 7,989 bottles were filled in April 2021.
