Summa Varietalis 2013

"The 2013 Svmma Varietalis, a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Petit Verdot, follows the standard procedure: hand harvested grapes from their Dominio de Valdepusa estate, fermentation followed by a soft post-fermentative maceration, and ten months in mostly new French oak barrels. The nose is dominated by Mediterranean herbs and esparto grass aromas with a core of black fruit, much cleaner than some wines from the past. The palate is medium to full-bodied with fine tannins. Better with food. 35,144 bottles produced".
