The Wine Advocate:

The new, brilliant rosé 2018 Suañé Rosado Reserva is very different from your everyday rosé and has lots of personality and character. It's a dark pink/orange wine with a wild nose of yeasts, sesame seeds and spices, produced in a Reserva category, which is also unusual. It's a blend of 50% Viura, 30% Garnacha and 20% Sauvignon Blanc with 13% alcohol and a pH of 3.3. So, it's medium-bodied and has plenty of freshness and vibrant acidity that makes you salivate. The white grapes macerated with their skins, and then the Garnacha was added three days later with the full clusters; the fermentation with the skins lasted for 15 days and was spontaneous (indigenous yeasts). It's also marked by the skin contact and has some common notes with their whites, the mouthfeel too; it's chalky, with fine tannins and lively acidity, finishing long, dry, tasty and salty. It matured in used French oak barrels for 12 months. 2,555 bottles were filled in June 2020.
