L'avis des experts

The Wine Advocate:

I love the complex nose of the white 2016 Suañé Blanco Reserva and its notes of toasted sesame seeds, struck flint and diesel, as La Pequeñita is difficult to pinpoint as Rioja. Full of charm and personality, it's a blend of Viura and 30% Sauvignon Blanc, but it's not about the varieties at all; it's quite remarkable, especially the Sauvignon Blanc, which tends to mark blends with its strong aromatic palette. The palate is medium-bodied with some chalkiness and extremely tasty, almost salty. I think this is quite different from previous vintages. 4,442 bottles produced. It was bottled in May 2018.
