The Wine Advocate:

The 2015 Socaire is a white Palomino from albariza soils, fermented in 500-liter botas where the wine aged for two years before bottling without flor. It shows a lot of character, with some austerity and aromas of wet chalk, esparto grass, hay and straw. The palate is dry with freshness and very tasty flavors, with moderate alcohol that makes it approachable and easy to drink. It was very expressive, clean, pure and transparent. I tasted from a magnum, a format that should develop nicely, as this style of wine tends to get more complex and nuanced, even if it already showed very well. This is sold without any appellation, but the grapes come from within the Jerez zone, eight kilometers from the sea. I see a great improvement over the previous vintage. This 2015 has a lot more character and a stronger personality.
