Sketch 2014

"The pure Albariño 2014 Sketch is sold as 'Vino de España' even if it's grown in the Rías Baixas zone. It's sourced from 45-year-old vines on sandy soils, fermented in neutral 750-liter oak barrels (nine-years-old) where it matured for one year before bottling. The grapes come from the same vineyard as the Goliardo A Telleira from Forjas del Salnés. There is always a candied touch in Sketch, with aromas of yellow plums and certain ripeness, somehow lush and exuberant. This is more expressive and round than the Muti, but keeping very good acidity and freshness. This has always been an unusual Albariño. 1,500 bottles produced."
