Señorío de Cuzcurrita 2014

There’s quite a lot of red fruit here, such as dried red plums and redcurrants, but also something herbaceous and earthy with clove character. Rich and quite easygoing, but with some firmness to the tannins. Drink now.

There was no Tilo made in 2014, alas, so all of the fruit from that remarkable vineyard went into the Señorío de Cuzcurrita release. This is very much a cool climate style, showing clove and pepper spice notes, tangy acidity and savoury, tobacco pouch aromas.
