L'avis des experts

The Wine Advocate:

This is a new single-vineyard bottling produced with the local Romé grape. The 2019 Las Jacintas is from a plot of vines planted on white slate soils that fermented in stainless steel vats with indigenous yeasts and matured in used French oak barrels for one year. It has marked rusticity and earthiness with notes of shoe polish and graphite. The palate has a rough texture, with abundant, slightly dusty tannins. It needs powerful food. It's only 12% alcohol. 980 bottles produced. It was bottled in August 2021.
