The Wine Advocate:

The 2014 Sant Antoni de Scala Dei is the other single-vineyard Garnacha produced like the wines from yesteryear. It is named after a plot planted in 1945 at 580 meters in altitude above the Carthusian monastery of Scala Dei. The uncrushed full clusters fermented in 3,500-liter concrete vats with indigenous yeasts and no temperature control. The wine matured in a used 1,400-liter oak foudres for 14 months. It has a very varietal nose, floral and elegant, with red rather than black fruit and good freshness while still showing ripe Garnacha flavors. But there is less ripeness than in 2012, closer to 2013. 1,500 bottles and 100 magnums were filled in May 2016.
