Sameirás Libro Blanco 2018

The golden colored 2018 Libro is a blend of the three white varieties with higher acidity (and lower yields)—Albariño, Lado and Loureira (no Treixadura!)—that fermented with indigenous yeasts and partly matured in oak barrels. It has good ripeness with aromatic herbs, flowers and yellow fruit, plus some notes reminiscent of some botrytis whites, dry apricot, beeswax and a lanolin/silicon twist. The palate is round and lush, with pungent flavors, good and integrated acidity and a long aftertaste. Quite powerful and characterful. 2,666 bottles produced. It was bottled in May 2019.
