L'avis des experts

The Wine Advocate:

Produced exclusively with Giró grapes, an old local strain of Garnacha found in the old mountain vineyards of Alicante, sourced from the Parcent zone vineyards, the 2010 Rojo y Negro feels perfectly ripe and developed. It opens to subtle and polished aromas of flowers, red berries, blood and a hint of spices. The palate is very polished and approachable with very fine tannins and good acidity. This is a wine that is sold when it's ready to drink, which is a very good idea as people tend to drink the reds too early. So it's really drinkable now, though with the good balance and freshness it should also evolve in bottle.
