Renacido 2015

"The 2015 Renacido is a white Ribeiro produced as a blend of 85% Treixadura, 10% Godello and 5% Albariño and Lado from different soils from the Avia zone fermented in a combination of stainless steel and oak barriques. It matures with the lees but without bâtonnage, with part in barrel and part in tank. It's an elegant style with just a touch of lees, as the work with the lees is very soft. This is very drinkable now, with enough complexity and primary notes. The palate is very fresh, especially for the conditions of the year. I think this should age nicely in bottle. The idea was to produce a Ribeiro from yesteryear. And the result has been very good indeed! 5,000 bottles were filled in November 2016."
