Like many of the classic Rioja blends, Viñedos de Altura marries Tempranillo from Rioja Alta (Villalba in this case) with Garnacha from Rioja Oriental (Tudelilla). The new oak needs a little more time to integrate here, but this has very good focus, intensity and depth. Plum, mocha and blubbery flavours combine appealingly on the palate. 2023-28
