L'avis des experts

The Wine Advocate:

The 2019 Tinta Roriz was aged for 18 months in used French oak and comes in at 14.2% alcohol. Tempranillo is such a great grape. The Portuguese, in the north under the name "Tinta Roriz," sometimes chime in with some very good results too. This is stern and serious with a real backbone and classic flavors. It's dry and just a little dusty on the finish. Closed and lacking a bit in expression just now, this needs a couple of years to integrate its tannins and open up. It should be splendid in the middle of the decade. This is not exactly a brand that you can recommend as a great value, the price no doubt spiking due to the small production levels, but it certainly produces some fine quality vintages that have the potential to improve.
