The Wine Advocate:

"The 2012 Vintage Port was aged in second- and third-year French Allier oak for 12 months. It was bottled in September, 2014, and comes in at 101 grams per lliter of residual sugar. It is a blend of 60% Touriga Franca, 20% Touriga Nacional, and small dollops of several other grapes typical to the region. The average vine age here is 30 years old. Charming, fresh and pure, this is an elegant Port that has restrained power and sweetness on the finish. There is a table wine feel to it at times. In 2012, a vintage that was rather on the lighter side for most of Douro, there may not be as many powerhouses, but this finishes well and tastes great. It should be approachable fairly young, but you would be well advised to cellar it for several years for best results. Granting that it is not the most concentrated Port you'll see, its elegance makes it very appealing. There were 300 cases produced".
