Quest 2018

An herbal and peppery red Bordeaux blend, the 2018 Quest was produced with Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Merlot that fermented in 12th-century stone lagars, followed by malolactic and 18 months of aging in brand-new French barriques. It's complex, intense and juicy, with round tannins and very peppery sensations on the palate. It has 14% alcohol and a pH of 3.5, with good freshness and acidity. It's still young and lively and should evolve nicely in bottle. 10,500 bottles and 200 magnums produced. It was bottled in March 2020.

A classic Bordeaux blend, with the firmness and freshness of the high altitude planting. Great concentration of blueberries and blackberries, well supported by green bell pepper, graphite and cedar. Lovely, fine tannin and driven acidity; this will be a wine to watch evolve over the years to come. 2022-2036
