Ponte da Boga Albariño 2018

At Ponte da Boga they consider 2018 to be a very good vintage for whites and more challenging for reds, and the 2018 A Albariño shows good freshness despite some tropical notes on the nose. The palate has some balsamic and even herbal flavors, moderate alcohol and very good freshness. Of course, Albariño here is quite different than in Rías Baixas. The effect of having some 20% of the volume in barrique for five months is almost imperceptible. 17,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in March 2019.
