The Wine Advocate:

Pequeñas Puertas is a series of single-vineyard bottlings, a collaboration of Viña Zorzal and Matías Michelini. The 2018 Pequeñas Puertas Jirafas is their take on Viura, from a 35-year-old vineyard called la Carbonela that is next to the paraje El Corral de los Altos in Fitero. It's a mixture of a reductive fermentation in 700-liter concrete egg and an oxidative one in 500-liter oak barrel, where the wines matured for 15 months. This is quite austere and very serious, balanced and varietal, subtle and harmonious. The palate is very solid and seamless, with very good balance and acidity and a spicy twist in the finish. It's intense and very pure. 1,600 bottles were filled in February 2020. - Luis Gutiérrez.
