L'avis des experts

Jeb Dunnuck:

Already bottled, the 2018 Gigondas Cuvée Romaine is a more forward, charming wine compared to the 2017 and has a darker slant in its fruit as well as notes of ground pepper, forest floor, and violets. Medium to full-bodied, textured, and already drinking beautifully, I’d lean toward drinking bottles over the coming 7-8 years.

The Wine Advocate:

The full-bodied and velvety 2018 Gigondas Cuvee Romaine features plums and raspberries accented by hints of cinnamon and bay leaf. It's supple enough to think it will drink well young, yet the dusting of silky tannins on the finish suggests a decade's worth of cellaring potential.
