O Pequeno Mein 2020

2020 was a very challenging year, a year of mildew, and the 2020 O Pequeno, the second white wine, has a full 1% less alcohol than the 2019 and similar acidity, a different wine from 2019, with a nice mid-palate, structure and freshness, lighter than 2019. It matured in tank for eight months. The nose is still redolent of sulfur and feels a little reductive, so you have to guide yourself by the palate, especially the mouthfeel and texture. It's round and soft, with moderate acidity. It finishes dry and with a faint bitter twist. Give it a bit more time. 22,000 bottles and 3,000 magnums were produced. It was bottled in May 2021.
