The Wine Advocate:

The grapes for the 2017 Naranjas Azules Garnacha are now sourced from the Ávila zone of Gredos, and the profile has changed towards more freshness, more verticality and minerality. In fact, it felt more like a white wine, at one point Soto described it as a vin gris (and later blanc de noirs) from Garnacha, and has very little in common with your average rosé, with a subtle nose and a mineral and serious, somehow austere palate, super tasty, with an almost saline finish. It's incredibly fresh from a warm year, subtle, elegant and with a strong personality. This is a truly amazing rosé that arrived at Gredos almost by accident and is one of the very few rosé in the zone, and among the best in its class. The grapes now come from 100% old vines, that deliver very tasty flavors and great freshness, with greater aging potential. Awesome! 50,000 bottles were produced and bottled in March 2018.
