Muti 2018

The Albariño 2018 Muti is a collaboration with their US importers and sold there exclusively. It was produced with grapes from a 60-year-old vineyard in the village of Meis. It fermented in stainless steel and matured for one year in oak foudre. They look for a profile with volume, but in 2018, it feels especially fresh—the nose is a little closed, and it feels quite young. The palate is quite straightforward, clean and fresh and should improve with a little more time in bottle. 1,200 bottles produced. It was bottled in March 2020.
