L'avis des experts

Decanter:

A wine in its youth with a dense nose which conversely has great delicacy. The fruit is pure and refined, currently coddled in fine oak, but obviously concentrated enough to age in harmony. A wine to age for 10-15 years with a long cherry-flecked finish.

Tim Atkin:

Mirto underwent a change of origin in 2016, switching from Ábalos to cooler Cuzcurrita for even more freshness and structure. The new oak is still a little too evident at this stage, but the underlying wine is impressive, with vibrant acidity, lots of colour and blackberry fruit intensity and a balsamic undertone. 2024-30.
