"Young" for the Merinos means a Tempranillo vineyard planted in 2001 in El Rincón to the south of Briones on sand and limestone soils. Including 5% Graciano for the first time, this is very serious for an entry point wine, with 14 months ageing in mixed French and American oak. 2019-24
