L'avis des experts

The Wine Advocate:

In the early times, the Reserva was sold as Miguel Merino in the best vintages and Vitola in the minor vintages. Since 2010-2011, the concept changed, and the Vitola was produced with cooler and less-ripe vines and looking for more tension and less structure, using less new oak and more French barrels. The 2017 Vitola Reserva shows very good for the challenging vintage; the wine show some evolution, and the profile seems to be turning a little bit more classical, like both styles are converging, at least with the 2017. This is ready now. 7,056 bottles produced.
