The Wine Advocate:

The white 2020 Mataperezosa was produced with the grapes from the individual vines of white varieties, mostly Doña Blanca (60%) and Palomino (25%) but also Godello (15%) scattered among the red varieties in their old vineyards, as they don't have any plot of white grapes only. They get 3,000 from several hectares of vineyards, and they progressively tend to select more from higher-altitude and cooler places. The clusters were pressed, the juice let to settle, and it fermented in French oak barrels where the wine matured with the fine lees with regular bâtonnage for 14 months. It has moderate ripeness and alcohol (12.5%) with very good freshness and acidity, with less oak than in previous years, notes of dry herbs and spices and ripe fruit. 1,270 bottles were filled in March 2022.
