L'avis des experts

The Wine Advocate:

"The 2011 Petit Verdot had an even longer maceration and was aged in new French oak barrels for 12-15 months, finally bottled in May 2014. Very dark-colored, the wine has a peppery nose with plenty of oak-related aromas, spices, smoke, vanilla, cinnamon, toast and a core of very ripe (but not overripe) black fruit and some creamy tones. The palate is medium to full-bodied with abundant, fine-grained tannins and some austerity and minerality with a supple finish. An austere, well-oaked, powerful wine that should develop in bottle. I'd give it some more bottle age and enjoy over the next 5-8 years with powerful meat dishes.14,400 bottles".
