Aromas of pomegranate, mocha and orange zest waft from the glass, preparing the taste buds for black cherry, raspberry, cocoa powder and espresso bean flavors, with soft hints of dried mountainside herbs. Muscular tannins and robust acidity are well matched on the palate of this wine and linger long after the last sip. Drink through 2049.

This is complex, big and beautiful with a generous splash of sweet spices and dark chocolate to the rich but fresh blackberries and savory, cured meat. A hint of mineral, too. Full-bodied on the palate, tightly sealed by powdery tannins. Powerful, but still juicy and really long. Better from 2025.
