The Wine Advocate:

The 2017 Majuelo del Chiviritero has seen a slight change of name (which is a tongue twister anyway...), but it's the same plot of head-pruned Verdejo vines that were planted in 1981 in the village of La Seca, their oldest vineyard. They got 23 hectoliters per hectare, and therefore, the wine has good concentration (yields in the zone tend to be humongous, and many wines feel diluted), and I liked the power and balance here, the clean varietal character. It has moderate alcohol (13%), a low pH (3.18) and good acidity after full malolactic and barrel fermentation and 12 months élevage. 7,304 bottles and 120 magnums were filled in August 2019.
