This wine is always produced with grapes from the same old vineyard, almost five hectares planted on the property in 1977 (45 years old). The 2019 L'Equilibrista Xarel.lo finished fermenting in 2,500-liter oak foudres, where the wine matured with the lees for six months with no bâtonnage. This is very Burgundian, with a combination of white and yellow fruit, and it comes from a perfectly ripe vintage with 13.5% alcohol that gives it a round texture a generous palate with very tasty flavors. 26,000 bottles and 500 magnums produced. I tasted the 2016 and 2014 to check the evolution, which is better in the 2014 (it was 12.5% alcohol), and both were very alive and kicking. - Luis Gutiérrez.
