L'avis des experts

The Wine Advocate:

The pale and delicate pink 2019 Las Cañadas was produced with 85% Bobal and 15% Albilla, so it's a clarete rather than a rosé. The lack of rain during the harvest delivered healthy and balanced grapes that resulted in a wine with 12.5% alcohol and very good freshness. It fermented with indigenous yeasts in 600-liter oak barrels, where it matured with lees for six months, and, like the rest of their portfolio, it was not fined, filtered or cold stabilized. The nose is austere and reticent, even within the more generous vintage, and it feels more like a white than a red. The palate is super tasty, with the length and salinity of Albilla. Great clarete! 10,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in March 2020.
