James Suckling:

Aromas of blackberries, blueberries, dried flowers, bay leaves, iodine and cigar box. Medium-to full-bodied with fine tannins and fresh acidity. Spicy and vibrant with a velvety texture and a flavorful, polished finish. Drink or hold.

LAN's Reserva is a large blend of Tempranillo and 4% Mazuelo made with purchased grapes as well as the bodega's own fruit in Riojas Alta and Alavesa. Something of a crowd pleaser, with ageing in mixed French and American oak barrels, it's youthful, perfumed and plush, with vanilla and coffee bean aromas and a core of vibrant berry fruit. 2022-2
