"This is the warmer vineyard from the Vizcaina project but in the cooler 2012 it doesn't feel warm at all and feels quite balanced, with black fruit notes, some spices and a palate with sweet, round tannins. I'm talking about the 2012 La Vizcaína La Poulosa, a field blend of mostly Mencía and other red grapes fermented in oak vats with full-clusters. This is very approachable now".
