Three different villages in isolated, high-altitude Soria - Matanza, Villalvaro and Quintanilla des Tres Barrios - supply the grapes for Bertrand Sourdais' top wine under the Antídoto label. Dense, compact and deeply coloured, it shows the depth of its 100-year-old vine sources, with emphatic tannins, 43% new wood, lots of extract and focus, layers of damson and back cherry fruit and the acidity of its terroir.
